An Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, Stephen has been photographing the landscape of Britain for over 30 years. Closely associated with the Snowdonia National Park in particular, his knowledge and understanding of the area have allowed him to produce images unrivalled in their portrayal of the ephemeral light and wild atmosphere of that special part of the world. His work is an intimate and lovingly crafted celebration of wild landscapes.
Stephen is a contributing photographer to various image libraries, including the Photo Library of Wales. He hosts photographic workshops in Snowdonia and around the U.K, and is a regular speaker at photographic societies. His first book, 'Private Views of Snowdonia' was published in 2005, and his work is held by the University of Wales at Aberystwyth.
